Restoring Dignity

Many orphans from the Ohio Veterans Children's Home were buried in the cemetery on the property. Over time, some gravesites have become weathered and require care to preserve their dignity.

The Home History Fund Inc works in conjunction with its mission to restore and maintain the cemetery and gravesites. This includes cleaning and preserving headstones, maintaining the grounds, and ensuring the cemetery remains a place of peace and remembrance.

The property upon which the former home, including museum and cemetery are located is owned by a separate tax exempt organization. We collaborate to support the preservation of this historic site.

We welcome volunteers, descendants, and community members who wish to contribute to the preservation of this sacred ground.
